Neuropathy

Neuropathy is a disease of the nerves. Peripheral neuropathy involves disruption of communication between the brain and peripheral nerves. Carpal tunnel syndrome is a well-known type of nerve entrapment. Autonomic neuropathy involves damage to the nerves that regulate involuntary body functions. Other neuropathies include Guillain-Barré syndrome and trigeminal neuralgia.
