5 Exercises for Better Sex

5 Exercises for Better Sex

It’s no secret that keeping yourself in shape leads to better sex life, but did you know there are specific exercises designed to make your sex life better?  These exercises can give you better technique, more stamina, and can even improve the length and intensity of orgasm.  Below are 5 exercises that will do wonders for your sex life.

#1  Cardiovascular Exercise

Having a healthy heart is the most important thing for not only a long life in general but also healthy sex life.  Your circulatory system is vital in transporting blood and oxygen to all the muscles of the body.  If you let your heart get weak through inactivity and lack of exercise, then your muscles won’t be supplied the oxygen needed during a vigorous workout, or in this case a passionate sexual encounter.   When your muscles get weak and fail, your sexual escapade is over.  A weak circulatory system can also lead to Erectile Dysfunction(ED) in men, and lack of sexual arousal in women because of a decreased blood flow to the genitals.

#2  Core Exercises

There is a reason that MMA fighters focus time and energy on strengthening their core.  Your abdominal region is vital to support the movement of your whole body.  Exercises such as crunches, sit-ups, and leg lift all strengthen the core.  These common exercises can be intensified with the addition of weights if you really want to sweat it out.  You may not need the intensity of a workout that a fighter does to be able to toss around another fighter, but your woman will be pleasantly surprised if you can pick her up off the ground and add some intensity to the love-making, without passing out from exhaustion.

#3  Upper Body Strength

This is pretty self-explanatory.  Unless you want to completely crush your partner, you need to be able to support a majority of your body weight with your arms and chest muscles for an extended amount of time.  Try working on this with push-ups, or even hovering or “planking” yourself above the ground for as long as possible.  If you can’t accomplish this on solid ground, you certainly won’t be able to do it on a squishy mattress.

#4  Pelvic Exercises

Kegels are a type of exercise that helps strengthen and tone muscles in the pelvis.  These are the muscles that are used to contain the bladder, and are also used for contraction of the vaginal muscles during sexual intercourse.   Women can use vaginal weights if they are not sure if they are doing this exercise properly.  In addition, 75% of men with erectile dysfunction also saw improvements in their ED after practicing Kegels.  For more chronic ED problems, consider trying one of the many proven medications on the market, such as Once Daily Cialis.

#5  Yoga and Meditation

Flexibility is vitally important in sex.  The only way you can be comfortable exploring new positions, or even enjoying your current positions, is to be flexible, especially in the legs and hips.  Yoga is great for accomplishing this.  In addition to flexibility, meditation during Yoga allows for relaxation, which is important for women to achieve orgasm….and for men to delay theirs.
